Hazy, will make a note of his name and keep an eye out. I would love to experience something like that. Even if I didn't hear anything from Eris but from someone else I would at least know there is life after death and that she is still living on somewhere.

shabster · 23/08/2008 19:46

FMN - I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Eris and all our wonderful children are Only a whisper away....xxx

I had a letter printed praising Daniel Radcliffe for speaking out and saying he has dyspraxia. They have taken a lot out and altered what i said somewhat but most of what i wanted to say was there.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 24/08/2008 11:09

I can't believe they have edited your letter, I'm really quite that they have done that.

I read the letter and the information in it was seeming more and more familiar, then when I saw who it was from and where you are from, it clicked!

Blimey my pelvis and lower back ache today - it feels like I've got someone's head shoved in my pelvis

shabster · 24/08/2008 11:13

Well done Lottie!!

Move it - do I need to boil and kettle and get some towels??

How amazing would it be if you went into labour and carried on posting here?????

I was once on a thread for the whole day whilst a MN lady went through all the stages of labour. She had a home delivery and put the pictures on the next day. I was knackered by the time the baby arrived

Dont expect you to do all that

This was the original letter that i sent....

Three cheers for Daniel Radcliffe for speaking out about suffering from dyspraxia. My son and I are both dyspraxic. I did very badly in my school exams and now in hindsight i know that i should never have done O Levels because i couldnt plan, execute and write down what i wanted to say in my essays, if however i had done CSE's which were mainly one word answers i would probably have fared much better. I have failed six driving tests and have now given up trying to learn. I hate giving people directions because i have difficulty remembering my right and my left.In my sons case he is very clumsy too, he also has difficulties with left and right and at 12 years old still has stabilisers on his bicycle. He is also profoundly deaf which also affects his balance. I had to fight tooth and nail to get dyspraxia put on his Statement of Educational Needs as the authorities dont like "labelling" children. With my son it was an unusual case as all the therapies he needed were in place but the actual word "dyspraxia" however was not on the statement which meant that if my son changed school we would have to start the whole process all over again. Dyspraxia was added to my son's statement two years ago.Dyspraxia is called a "hidden handicap" because people cant see it. More people need to know what it is and how to help sufferers. I salute Daniel for bringing this condition to a wider audience.Yours

Well done Lottie!! You're famous!! But how's the head.....?

Ilike, that feeling that you have someone head shoved in your pelvis...well...it's, erm, because......erm....you've got someone head shoved in your pelvis!!

lottiejenkins · 24/08/2008 12:52

The head is fine! I cant believe that I grabbed that lads bum though! My only thoughts are that he did it first!

lottiejenkins · 24/08/2008 12:57

Forgot to say it was so lovely at the wedding the bride and groom went back up the aisle to Better Together by Jack Johnson. Such a COOOOOOOL song!

Morning ladies... I have another Wilf free day! He is off out with his Aunt Bee. Along with his cousin and his friends they are off to Castle Rising for the day, then they are camping at my mums tonight. I tried camping with him there once and i said it would be a cold night in hell before i did it again!
I found this poem girls... i think it is beautiful.

shabster · 25/08/2008 09:14

Morning Lottie.

That is a beautiful poem - I think Doris Stokes (the medium) wrote it originally. Im not 100% sure but I know she lost a son when he was a few months old and that poem was in one of her books.

Camping with Wilf?? ROFL.

OP posts:
lottiejenkins · 25/08/2008 09:28

I found it in one of her books Shabs. The last time Wilf camped at Mums he spent the whole night hollering down the garden for me which meant i had to thunder up and down the lawn in the dark with a torch treading on windfalls and falling everywhere.. The thing that finished me off completely was waking up at 1am with his face close to mine, I screamed the place down,,, his reason "I want the loo Mummy"!!! Never ever again!!
