My grandad died on 5th December. I miss him so much. New Year’s Eve was never really a big thing for me, yet as the day progresses I’m feeling sadder and sadder. I don’t want to enter a year my wonderful grandad won’t be in? Not sure what the point of this post is, but if anyone is feeling their losses extra hard tonight, know you are not alone.

Sorry you're feeling sad today. It's still very early days for you and the firsts are always the hardest.
My dad passed away 7 years ago today so new years eve is always a bit off for me. This year has felt a bit easier and I've decided that next year we are going to make a new memory for new year as dad wouldn't have wanted us to be sad.
