I'm in need of some advice about a Gofundme.
My daughters ex partner passed away a few weeks ago at age 55 with stage 4 cancer only diagnosed 7 weeks before hand.
My daughter has 2 children ages 13 & 14 & they travelled down South from Scotland so the children could spend as much time with their Dad as possible in the few weeks leading up to his passing.
Daughters ex partner also has 2 other daughters ages 21 & 24. They all get on reasonably well till now & the elder girls started a Gofundme to raise money to help with the funeral & travel & accommodation for the younger children to travel back down South for the funeral & a
the government have helped too for funeral costs.
On the Gofundme they have put up photos of all the children with their Dad & have raised £6000
Now the elder girls have said "sorry, but all the Gofundme money is accounted for & there is no funds left to help pay for travel & accommodation so my daughter can take the younger to their Dad's funeral.
I don't know if this goes against Gofundme terms, but I feel that they have put the two younger children pushing their Dad in a wheelchair in the photos showing just how young they are & visibly upset to highlight how much they needed the donations.
Can anybody enlighten me please to what my daughter can do now that the elder girls are not playing fair with the donations.
It's a very sad state of affairs.
