Try your MP. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. Contact the medical examiner service at the hospital. Are you his next of kin?

Depends on if you are next of kin. If not then they can’t tell you. Are there any other relatives, his family etc who would know?

I am down as next of kin at the hospital where he died. He also worked for NHS.

I'm sorry for your loss. Has the death been registered? Is it possible another family member has stepped in and provided confirmation that he wanted a direct cremation?

Surely the hospital must know where his body is? Contact the PALS department at the hospital and ask.

My brother died unexpectedly at home and I was able to find his location from the police the following day. In your brother’s circumstances, the most likely place is the hospital mortuary. I hope someone can help you today and I am sorry for your loss.

Are you in touch with the coroner yet? After my father died unexpectedly we could not register the death and they had to carry out an autopsy. The coroner was extremely helpful co-ordinating everything and helping to get his body released so we could go ahead with a funeral.
