Today is 6 months since my lovely dad died. I miss him so much - his lovely face and texting about football are why I have been thinking about today.

Does it get any easier?

Really sorry for your loss Flowers

Hope you have some nice memories of him to think about.

I don't know about easier. Everyone is different. Six months is very early days, go very easy on yourself.

It's been 17 years for me. It does get easier but the pain doesn't completely go, it's more like an ache than the visceral pain when he died.
I feel most sad about the fact he didn't see my children grow up. They were 3 and 1 when he died and I know he would have had such a great relationship with them and they with him.
I'm sorry for your loss.
