Dog Love GIF by Red and Howling

I found my dad's childhood comics, some are Lone Rider and others are Robin Hood. I put them into acid free wallets, and cried over them.

Infact I can't stop crying. I miss him so much I can't belive he's gone. I can't adjust, I rang Cruse & left a message but they never returned my call, so I'll not bother again. Fat lot of good they are.

Got his detective comics to do yet.

I'm sorry for your loss. It sounds like it was very recent. The absence is always there but time does make it easier as you adjust. Sorting through their things is always hard.

I'm so sorry for your loss. How wonderful to have something from your Dad's childhood, I hope that gives you some comfort x

It was recent, and this stupid plank of a woman isn't helping by getting grumpy I'm spending too much time with my own mother, instead of her.

I miss him so much, he's now just a box on a shelf.

I’m so sorry.

I don’t know the background or who the woman is, but my mum died last year & some of the effects of grief that I hadn’t expected were exhaustion and fury.

I can remember walking along wishing someone, a total stranger would have been fine, would do or say the wrong thing so I could punch them.

Does that sound familiar?

I understand that feeling. When I finished sorting someone's things I just had a few boxes on a shelf. I felt some disbelief that this is what they were reduced to; a few boxes. Of course they've been so much more in other people's lives than that, but I know the feeling you speak of. It feels so empty.
