Hi,
I've also posted this on Chat but hoped someone here might have sage advice.
Help me if you can. A member of my team is facing her partner having a terminal illness. He had been given a timeframe and exceeded it which is great but they're finding it hard to explain this to their children.
I know about Winston's Wish and Badger's Parting Gifts but they'd like some resources to help with this 'waiting' period and how to help them cope with the 'limbo' they're currently experiencing.
They're spending lots of times doing family things and making memories and have had some contact from hospice services but any resources, books, podcasts or films you could recommend would be gratefully received. School are supporting with resources and therapeutic sessions in school.
Children are 5-10 age range.
