Memorial jewellery

Has anyone used the ashes of a loved one to make a piece of memorial jewellery? Can you explain how the ashes are used and any recommendations on a jeweller? I have researched online but its very hard to know what you actually get from the pictures on websites so a personal review would be appreciated if you have done this at all.

Not personally but a friend had some of her DM’s ashes put into a ring with this company. It’s a nice piece of jewellery and she is really happy with it. you can actually go and watch your piece being made, there is a video on the website but I’m not sure how they actually do it.

I have also seen someone who has this type of urn pendant (not this actual company, just an example) where the ashes are inside a hollow piece of jewellery rather than mixed in to the piece of jewellery. I’m sorry for your loss Flowers
