my lovely DH died suddenly in June. We had the funeral service at the crematorium in July. We are next week having the interment of the ashes. Very small, me and my 3 kids, and DH's sibling (and their ex, but that is a different thread). Do I bring flowers? There is no headstone yet, so a wreath might be odd? I just can't make any decisions lately. waht's normal?

Yes, flowers would be lovely.

Flowers sound like a lovely idea. We did similar for a family internment, it just felt right for us to do.

We did when my dad died. After the cremation we placed the large coffin arrangement on the grave where the ashes would eventually be interned. At the actual internment, which was just me, mum and my sibling, we had arranged a mini arrangement using the same flowers.

Sorry for your loss and remember there are no should/must here - you do what feels right for you and your family. Anyone who judges a grieving family is an arse.

Thank you all xx I'll bring some nice flowers, but won't organise a wreath. We did a big floral arrangement for the funeral. Just thought it would be quite bare without anything.
