Wedding anniversary

This is a week and a half.

It's 2 years since my husband died suddenly and 41 years since we got married. Other stuff going on too in my life, moving house, changing jobs, seeing long lost relatives.

I'm wondering what to do on wedding anniversary day, I can't just stay in bed...

Take yourself out for a nice meal or afternoon tea somewhere and remember the lovely times you had

Next week will be my second wedding anniversary after my husband died suddenly after nearly 45 years of marriage. Last year it was a complete non event; this year the family are all going to go out for a pub lunch, which is how we would have celebrated in the old days.

Well I bought nice flowers and had a quiet lunch with friends. It was ok.
