Help with appropriate keepsake on grave...

Not sure I explained that properly. DHs father died a few years ago before DS born.

Is buried locally and has angels etc on grave. I want to get something to put on grave from DS.

Has anyone done this ? ie would like something small and personalised from DS, saying to grandad I never knew or something.

Thanks

are you able to plant something on the grave or behind the headstone. Something like daffodil bulbs which will come up every year?

Our dear friend, Nikos (who lives in Rhodes, Greece) lost his brother last year. His family have made a shrine by the roadside where he died (sounds odd to us but is commonplace in Greece) it is similar to our headstones.

We took him a lovley oriental type candle holder - someone from his family or friends goes every day and renews the candle in it - just to say that even though we are almost 3,000 miles away we are always thinking about the family.

They have really nice candle holders in our local Asda - some of them have winnie the pooh on - hope that helps a bit xx
