Mams funeral today

It's my beautiful mams funeral today.. I have no idea how I'm going to get through it m. She died suddenly and unexpectedly just after Christmas.

My heart is broken..there's no sparkle in my eyes anymore. It's so cruel. She was 67 and so fit and well.

I love you mam and miss you so much ❤️

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve yet to experience this heartbreak but I do know you’ll get through today. Don’t feel like you have to hold it together - we have these ceremonies to help us grieve and remember. You will be surrounded by people who love and support you.

That has been a terrible shock for you...sincere sympathy. Today you will all remember your dear Mom and all the best aspects of her life. Hopefully others speaking of her will be a comfort to you. Just to say don't be surprised if you are absolutely exhausted after the day as it really does take it out of you. Take care.

Grief is the price we pay for love - and your dear mam's funeral today is an expression of love. So don't worry about 'holding it together'. Go and be with people, hold each other up, share smiles and memories and tissues and hugs and drink in every visual and audible aspect of the service and the music and the people, if you can, as this will give you sustenance going forwards. x

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I lost my mum in 2021, so have been through the initial grief. You will get through today. I don't know how, but it happens.

You will be exhausted tomorrow, take extra care of yourself.
