Lost without my beautiful boy.

I miss him so so much. Nearly 6 months now. The most beautiful child ever. Can’t post this on Facebook as everyone will think I’m mad. He was such a beautiful boy, loved by so many. So cross that bipolar claims so many young lives, despite the support we had from the mental health services. Such a waste of a young life.

Surely you would only meet with empathy wherever you shared something so awful. I am hugely sorry for your pain and your loss.

So sorry for your loss 🤍

Bless you op I'm so sorry . No words of wisdom but you're in my thoughts very much tonight. X

Helenbackagain3 · 17/04/2022 01:58

Thank you all. I have lovely friends, but I have to carry on, and it’s easier letting it out anonymously sometimes. X

Just want to add - if you want to talk about him - then do .
And don't be afraid to tell rl friends and family how you're feeling.

What's your boys name sweetheart?

So sorry for your loss

Helenbackagain3 · 17/04/2022 02:08

My younger brother took his life due to bipolar also, 23 years ago. I have the cards & letters that were sent to my parents & now I have my own. Thinking I’d like to write a book about the letters & the change in perception to mental health issues, and the change to how people communicate.

Thank you. I don’t want to out myself. In touch with a local suicide group who are lovely, and meeting up with one of them next week.

Oh my goodness, you’ve really suffered through this haven’t you. Were your son and brother a similar age?
You must be incredibly strong to think about writing about this.

Helenbackagain3 · 17/04/2022 02:19

My brother was 23, my son 20. At least I had the insight & experience from my parents. My mum has been great, she’s a very young 81, but understands.

One day that will be amazing tribute to them both. But for now just look after yourself Flowers I’m so very sorry.

I miss his hugs. He was a good hugger. He could have ruled the world, and told him that many times.
