To all of you who have lost your lovely mum thinking of you ❤️ my mum passed away January 2019 and still miss her so much especially days like today

It's been two months since my beloved DM died and I have not been too bad recently but today is very sad for me. I'm going to see my DF shortly and will take some daffs and put them next to Mum's ashes. Then will spend time with my DH and DC.

Mine died 2 weeks ago, still waiting for the funeral. I’m also a lone parent - it was mum who bought me flowers from ds, and I’d buy them for her too.
I miss her so much today.
And I feel rageous with the people who have wished me happy Mother’s Day today.
I know they mean well but it is such a tone deaf thing to say.

Sorry for your losses marmitecake and Saltandvinegarlover. I don’t think you ever get over it but hopefully it gets a bit less brutal
