She was diagnosed 3 years ago with pulmonary fibrosis 3 years ago with only 6 months to live. She has done amazing but her health got worse.

Tonight she passed away after 9 days of not eating or drinking. I was with her and my mum last night for 8 hours, she took a turn for the worse , we thought she didnt have long.

But today I didnt go and Mum called me before 7pm to say she has passed. I feel so sad, cant stop crying. Single parent to 7, 15, 19 yr old. 7 yr old has been lovely, 15 yr old is at her friends for the afternoon and night and 19yr olf went to cinema.

Sitting on my own x

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. A week before lockdown I lost my father in law to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. It's the cruelest disease I have ever come across. Your Nan is definitely at peace now x
