My best friends husband has died

He has died suddenly in a freak accident.

They are both early 30s

I feel so lost and broken for her and I've no idea how best to support her.

I will also miss him so much. They were wonderful friends to us .

Keep in touch, with no expectation of response.
And keep keeping in touch. Everyone will pile in the the condolences and offers now, but this is going to continue to affect her for weeks and months and years.
I'm sorry for your loss.

Thank you!

I've been told to keep checking in and absolutely plan to do so but I'm so glad someone else said that to.

I'm just finding it like a bad dream at the moment . I want to fix it for her

Can you help with practical things like shopping and cleaning and laundry and waking the dog to keep those things going for her when she feels unable to?
