Dad had a great death. I’m fine. Back at work. But the first thing every morning - dads dead.

Oh I remember that feeling. Awful. :( It does go away though. That's all I can say. One day you'll realise that you haven't had that feeling for a while...you won't forget of course but the pain goes away mostly. You get sad sometimes...but then remember they wouldn't like that...and shoo the feelings away. Let yourself feel sad for now...it's not nice though I know.x

It does go away, I promise. But it's not nice at all. And sometimes it can set you up for the whole bloody day and it's just a write off.

But you'll feel stronger and better in time. Just take it easy for now and be kind to yourself. This is a normal - albeit shit - part of the process

I feel the same way, it's nearly a month since dad died - a very peaceful passing - I am still having a panicked anxiety feeling, a pain the pit of my stomach - it's particularly intense in the mornings - it's so very hard to continuing working.
