when you are soaking through pads every hour?

feeling weak, faint

when you feel it is too heavy

i take it this means you are bleeding

LilRedWG · 18/11/2007 12:19

I don't know Lissie. All I can say is that I bled at four weeks for several days, with lots of cramping and used tampons as I thought it was my period.

Columbia · 18/11/2007 12:19

Liss, sorry love x

Lulu is right I think.

Can you get anywhere for a Dr to see you?

LilRedWG · 18/11/2007 12:20

Go to the EPU, you have an open pass don't you. (((hugs)))

ScoobyDoo · 18/11/2007 12:22

When it is heavier than your normal period, i found that (TMI coming up) mine had bits in & then a clot.

I am sorry lissie

OracleInaCoracle · 18/11/2007 12:23

started last night, soaked first 3 pads in 10 mins eachand now soaking them in 1/2 hour. feel sick and weak and dh keeps telling me i look dreadful. bit worried, i was only just coming up to 5w. nurse said that if i started bleeding properly to go to a&e, but they will keep me in if i do, and i want to stay with my boys

LilRedWG · 18/11/2007 12:25

Lissie - you need to go to A&E. If you do not go yourself DH will end up having to call an ambulance and that will be more distressing for everyone concerned. Please go darling. xx

ChristmasShinySnowflakes · 18/11/2007 12:26

Sounds like you should be seen by someone soon.

So sorry Lissie

lulumama · 18/11/2007 12:27

babe, you need to go in, this is heavy bleeding, and if you lose too much blood you might go into shock, now please go

OracleInaCoracle · 18/11/2007 12:27

shit. ive had enough of this. its not fucking fair!

OP posts:
LilRedWG · 18/11/2007 12:28

Lissie - I'm sorry but I've got to log off now as my nephew is poorly and staying with us.

Please text me if there's anything I can do and please do go to the hospital before it becomes an emergency!

Columbia · 18/11/2007 12:28

GO

ScoobyDoo · 18/11/2007 12:28

I agree you need to go in asap it will be best for you & ALL your family at this stage x

LilRedWG · 18/11/2007 12:28

I know it's not fucking fair! Even DH said that last night when I told him. Get yourself seen please before you become really poorly. xxx

ChristmasShinySnowflakes · 18/11/2007 12:28

It's certianly not fair but what's most important now is that you go to hospital and let them look after you sweetheart.

lulumama · 18/11/2007 12:29

i know

well, i don;t know, but it must be the worst thing ever

but you will gain nothing by not getting help now

please go, you owe it to yourself to be seen and to be given medical attention

you will be no good to your boys if you collapse

Columbia · 18/11/2007 12:29

It will be worse if they see you pass out. Go now love. Get Dh to bring them with you if you like but you need help urgently.

cazzybabs · 18/11/2007 12:38

I am so sorry

Columbia · 18/11/2007 12:53

Darling NO WAY are you any such thing.

It is cruel and unfair, and happens to a lot of very good people. There but for the grace of God are those who haven't experienced it.

LOONEYplayingachristmasTUNEy · 18/11/2007 13:12

I hope you've gone to A & E - this happened with me and I could barely walk for the blood loss and feeling ill/dizzy etc. You MUST get seen ASAP!!! {{{{hugs}}}}

OracleInaCoracle · 18/11/2007 13:51

right, doc has instructed me to rest and go to docs tomorrow, says it sounds like i might need a d&c

OP posts:
Gumbo · 18/11/2007 13:56

Lissielou, I had a D&C on Friday and it was the best decision I could have made - it simply ended the absurdly heavy bleeding and agonising pain I'd had for days almost instantly!

But yes, get as much rest as you can - it's all so emotionally draining and exhausting (not just physically). Thinking of you...

OracleInaCoracle · 19/11/2007 09:46

fuck it! appointment this morning was for phlebotomy so have to go back at 10.50 to see doc.but bleeding heavily again (had slowed down) so epu seems inevitable now
