So much anger

My dad suddenly passed away on Sunday and all I've felt is anger at everything. People keep asking how I am. Looking at me with pity. Everytime they do I get angry. so stupid isn't it. Kinda don't want the anger to pass because then I will feel the sadness.
Is it normal?

I’m sorry for your loss Flowers
Anger is a totally normal feeling after the death of a loved one

Yes, it's completely normal. I'm sorry for your loss.

I felt overwhelmingly furious for months but much less so now.

Thank you. I'm trying to be careful with the kids so I'm not snapping or shouting but it's getting harder too.

Of course it is. I think that's called having a smaller window of tolerance. Things that you usually don't notice seem more irritating.

Please be kind to yourself. If you want to have a rant, I highly recommend calling the Samaritans and just explaining that you need to tell someone how desperately unfair it is.

If you can have a cup of tea or go for a walk instead of doing something pressurised that will require patience, I would suggest you just do that, for now. You've had a huge shock and like any wound, it takes time to heal.

I've got 3 kids and I seem to be trying to take care of mum and my little brother too. OH is trying his best but he's grieving too. Dad was more of a parent to him more than his own mum and dad. Feels like im being pulled in all directions atm too.
