Advice and coping

Probably should cut to the chase, I've been a long time lurker, always reading and never really having the need to ask for any advice or give any.

I'm just looking for some pointers, advice or some words from experience.

Sadly my awesome and so loved DW passed away recently and we have 2 young DC.

We're doing okay so far, we all had time to talk, discuss and prepare in a way for things, but I don't really know anyone else who's been through the same in terms of being a parent with young children. I just wondered if the Mumsnet community could give some advice or point me in the direction of some support please.

WAY. - widowed and young may be very helpful for you. My condolences on the loss of you wife.

Very sorry for your loss.
A friend of mine lost his wife to a swift and aggressive cancer when they had a two year old. W.A.Y. really helped him - being able to talk to people who had been there themselves, so no need to pretend.
