Flowers?

My friend went for her 12wk scan yesterday-there was no heartbeat her mum has also just found out she has breast cancer.

I know this sounds silly but should i pop round with some flowers or just leave her be for a while? I only found out from another friend this morning at swimming.

I don't want to disturb her.

Leave it a few days then take some flowers. Maybe send a text today (if so inclined) to say you've heard and you're thinking of her and you'll see her soon. Did the same just yesterday with my best friend who's granny has just died, that way she can text back if and when she's ready rather than feeling obliged to talk to you.

You're a good friend for wanting to do something, though

thank you-i was thinking that-i'd hate people to pop round but my mum thought differently-as always

I'll take some over the weekend.

I would, or you could maybe send flowers if you're not sure

When I had my miscarriage I didn't really want to talk about it and felt very awkward about having to explain to those I'd told about the pregnancy.

I did appreciate the flowers people sent though.

I'd send flowers rather than go over
