misscarrage

i have reacently had a termination. but my family wil be told i had a misscarrage. my mum is a gp so i have to get my story strait.could anyone please tell me what would happen from wen i go to my gp and the time frame i would go and have a d and c or if i would actully have a d and c at 6 weks , i need to cover my back can anyone herlp? thanks lorrry xx

I don't think you'd need a D&C at 6 weeks, it's more like 8 or 9 weeks.

I had a m/c at 9 weeks. No cramps. Lots of blood and clots. Passed the feoutus.

Went to hospital, examined by gyni doctor who confirmed m/c as cervix open and had passed the sac.

Went back 7 days later for scan to chack all debris had passed which it had so no d and c required.

thankyou but what would hapen once i have seen my gp would they refer me that same day for a scan at the hospital or would they wait till i stoped bleading or would he just say ok well only come back if you have any stomach pain wen the bleading has stoped,?xx

i have not had termination, but i think it would have been done through tablets at that stage, earlier this year i went through a miscarriage at 9 weeks and was offered tablets to dispell the products as they say. Ps i saw doc on the monday, had appointment 4 epu tues and was offered tablets that day

Well I disn't see my GP as it was in the evening when I started bleeding. Rang out of hours GP and he said not to worry in first instance, to rest and call again if I got pains, bleeding heavier or passing clots.

24 hours later was worse and GP arranged appointemnt at EPU unit.

Can't you just say you lost the baby and don't want to talk about teh details?

Depends on your area i would think. I saw gp fri am, they had to fax epu to request a scan. Epu rang me sunday, I had scan Monday, which showed m/c. As I was in middle of losing it, they said better to see if all goes naturally. A week later, some still left so was offered erpc. If had gone with that would be done the next day.

However, someone in different area from me, saw dr in am, and got a scan the same day (for her things were ok)

i wish i could but she is very intrusive and wil ask my boyfriend if i say that xx

Say you started spotting and got worried. Bleeding got worse so you went to GP, say you had cramps too (sign of eptopic so always scan tehn)

Went to hospital for scan who cf miscarriage.

Back in 7 days and all clear so no D and c required.

YOu felt very tired and darined afterwards.

Why did you tell her you were PG if you were terminating? Don't answer if you don't want. Just curious.

do you thik you would go for a scan the nxt day after you saw the gp?

as i thought i was going to keep the pregnancy xx
