Shall I write a card

Next door neighbour died. Already offered my condolences to his wife (in her 70s), we embraced and she cried, we had good talk.
Shall I write a card, too? I am asking not because I do not want to write card to her, but maybe it's too much?

Not at all, but make it a letter. She will treasure it.

Yes, send a card. I really appreciated them when my mum died.

I think a note in a card - even if it’s not a sympathy card, a nice picture is fine - is a lovely thing to do. Just knowing that you thought well of him and will miss his presence in your life could be a big comfort.

Please do send a card. I really appreciated them when Dad died, it made me feel less alone.
