My beautiful baby girl was born at 35 weeks. She died aged 19 hours. I don't know how we get through this.

Oh I am so sorry for you loss. How utterly devastating and heartbreaking.

Will there be an investigation as to what caused this to happen?

Gentle hugs. Flowers

I'm sending you so much love right now Thanks Eleanor is a beautiful name. Well done Mum for carrying her for all those weeks, and birthing her during I'm sure a scary time, and for being there for her at the end. She spent every one of her minutes on earth being sure of one thing, that you loved her ♥️

Bless you Eleanor, only with your mum for a short period but in her heart forever.

Bless you itsmylifeitsnowornever the pain is the price we pay for the love we share.

Sussexmidwife · 08/02/2020 19:38

There is nothing any of us can say that will ease the pain, but please know that we hurt for you and are here if & when you want to talk about her and what happened.
Hopefully you are being care for by a specialist midwife and have the opportunity to spend time with her now. The midwife should be able to suggest and help you with things like photos and other mementoes of your precious daughter which will be priceless in years to come. SANDS UK charity has very helpful information on their website and booklets available They run support groups too. Sending you love and strength xx
