prolonged bleeding after 2nd ERPC

I had my second miscarriage at the end of May and had an ERPC. The bleeding continued for weeks until at the start of August I had a second ERPC to try to stop the bleeding. I bled for two days and then it stopped. My period started two weeks after and I'm now on day 13 with no end to the bleeding again. Has this happened to anyone else? My doctor has advised I go for another scan to see if any tissue remains but I don't just want them to do a third ERPC, hoping this will end the bleeding. I am concerned it might be something else more serious which needs sorting out before we can try to get pregnant again.

Hi Honey8 - it might be worth discussing this with your GP and maybe getting another scan just so they can look to see if there is anything retained. It is so stressful isnt it - i am waiting for the bleeding to stop from my ERPC and just want to get back to normal.
