Really upset today

Tomorrow is my fathers birthday he passed away 2 months ago quiet quickly from cancer. I thiyhjt I was doing ok but I'm really upset today. Tomorrow is also my daughters birthday shes 9 I promised my dad that wed always celebrate his birthday I told him this after he was dead. We always took a photo of them together now we vant
We are having her party next satutday cause I cant face it, shes happy with this.ill try put on a brave face fir her. It's very sad.

I'm so sorry you lost your dad. It's horrible, isn't it? I think those firsts are always really tough. Have a lovely day with your daughter and do something to remember your dad, too. Perhaps you could send money to a cancer charity or buy some flowers for a hospice in his name, as a birthday gift to him?

Thanks for your reply the birthdays went ok we wsnt shopping in the morning for her birthday presents and then went to the grave with family and we had some food in my mothers house I am glad its over tbh. But it was ok in the end. I think the donation to cancer is a great idea I will do that
