Advice please

My sister has just been told her 9 week pregnancy has not been viable from about 6 weeks at her scan yesterday. This happened to her about 2 years ago as well. I am also pregnant but I am 12 weeks and ALSO had a scan yesterday, at which all was well. I don't know what to do now. My mum told me about my sister's awful news (my sister was going to phone me last night so we could have a chat about our scans etc ). She doesn't want to speak to anyone at the moment, and I am at a loss about what to do - will I be the last person she will want to speak to? Our due dates were exactly 3 weeks apart. I know that if I hadn't been pg myself I would probably have been on the phone this morning, but I'm all at sixes and sevens with doubt about what to do - can anyone advise?

Could you send her some flowers just to let her know you're thinking of her?

I had a friend who was trying to conceive when I feel pregnant with dd. I felt so bad about telling her.

She has texted me to say she'll be in touch. My poor sister.

I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. How hard for her. But as Fairyjay says, do look after yourself.

Your sister will appreciate your support and she'll also be happy for you that your pregnancy is going well but she might need a bit of space at the moment. x

i had friends who were due around the same time when i had my missed m/c. I felt like i couldn't start to deak with it while they were al still pregnant. Can you mark her due date in your diary? it may be nice for more flowers on that date. and just let her take her own time.

The flowers are a nice gesture. My brother sent me some last week and it was so nice to get them (similar position, found out 12 week pg was not viable from week 8). I didn't feel able to talk to anyone for a few days. I haven't got any close family friends who are pg, and it must be very hard for her (and you).

how awful for her, i think just knowing your there for her would be enough, unfortunatly mother nature can be a bitch
