This seems the best place to ask for suggestions. My mum died nearly 5 years ago, her ashes are buried in a small plot along a wall at the local church grave yard. She has a lovely plaque on the wall and my dad keeps on top of the grass by putting seed down and getting rid of the moss etc. So it's very neat and tidy. We dont go ott with flowers and ornaments as despite it being 5 minutes away and us visiting regularly, we dont want to have to keep topping it up with fresh flowers. I usually put a wreath down at Christmas but I'm really not keen on artificial flowers and (in my opinion) tacky tributes but i've just visited to clear away her Mothers Day tulips and felt like I wanted to put something a bit more permanent there, I just don't know what. A small stained glass ornament or mosaic? I know there are hundreds of grave tributes with 'mum' etc on ebay but I dont like these.
