Memorial Plaque

I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

I recently found out that my Grandmothers ashes were never picked up from the funeral directors. They have been now, just 20 years late!

She was very involved with her local church, played the organ at all the services, had my Granddad make them things, things like that. I am wondering if we could arrange to get a plaque or something put in the church/churchyard? If so, does anyone know how we would go about it/who we need to contact? If it makes a difference, her parents and brother are buried there, and my Granddads ashes were also interred there so there is a family connection too.

Any advice would be very welcome, I'm a bit mixed up about it all at the moment. Thanks

I would speak with your Grandmothers church about maybe having a service of remembrance and discussing how to go about best having her ashes interred x

Speak to the Vicar about having her ashes interred in the Churchyard. it may be possible to inter them in the same plot as your granddad's.
