Widowed parents allowance

My dh died 2015. I am about to stop recieving child benefit for my eldest child.
Can anyone tell me if the amount of widowed parents allowance I receive currently will go down if I'm only claiming child benefit for my youngest child?

I believe it is based on how much your OH paid in NI contributions
