Headstone inscriptions

Having trouble what to write on our parents headstone. We have

Her name
Dates
wife of 'his name' and mother of 'our names'
And her husband 'his name'
Dates

We want to put something at the bottom like 'together forever' or 'reunited in love' or 'always beloved'

But everything sounds twee. Any ideas?

Could you include something personal about them. Mother, sister, gardener. - or something appropriate. And then your 'reunited forever' feels more unique to them. Could that wok.

You were loved.

The problem is that all statements like this sound twee after a while. Just put the facts and if after reflection sometime later you and everyone else want's to add something, do so then?

I still (slightly) resent something my younger sister insisted being added to my Dad's headstone, and that was 22 years ago.

I like what Vitalogy suggested.

Is a symbol an option? Or favourite flower? Will mean something to you but not others.
My grandma called my mum cherry blossom (she had flower nicknames for all her kids!) so that’s what I put on mums stone. Meaningful to us but not anyone else

Could you have a line from a poem? There are some beautiful ones written for funerals which work well.
Or something like "the waiting is over, they are together again"
