I had a 'missed' miscarriage at 19 weeks a few years ago, not a twinge, a spot of blood or anything, just no heartbeat at the check up. I'm led to believe it's a lot more common than you'd think

yes and it is horrible,I felt really ill and really pregnant with my missed mc, didnt stop until 2 wks after my d+c

and if you had a mmc would a pregnancy test come up positive or negative?

I expect the pg test would come up positive as everything would still be in place and bleeding is normal after a D&C.

Yeah v common apparently - I had one just over a month ago. Bled for about 5 days after D&C but then felt (physically) ok.

Yes a pg test will be positive and in fact will remain positive even after a d &C for a week or two possibly...

Bleeding is only period like after the op...
