So sad. FlowersGinFlowers

its very sad,but what's even sadder is that there will be a lot of mnetters who have died that we never hear about

Thanks to them all

MycatsaPirate · 22/08/2017 13:12

Oh no, I had no idea that Zombie had passed away. I shall miss her terribly, although I never knew her, I loved her posts.

I read about Cat the other day and it really does make you realise how short life is and how tangible your life can be.

dementedma · 22/08/2017 13:13

I think we were all sort of prepared for zombie and knew what was coming -still desperately sad though. such a brave lady.
But cat was so damn unexpected. I just read her tent thread a couple of weeks ago and chuckled all the way through it. She seemed such a vibrant funny lady

Flowers for CTK.
But I'm with ssd. Let's remember also the posters that give you recipe suggestions, that commiserate when your newborn won't sleep/feed/wind etc, that identify a plant for you, that suggest good school shirts, or how to get a random stain out, that post about voting choices, or benefit cuts. People die all the time, and they're largely unnoticed, particularly with the name-changing. Whenever I read of an accident or early death of a woman, I do wonder whether I "knew" them.
Flowers for them all.

Is this CatThiefKeith? What happened? I don't mean that in a ghoulish, rubbernecking way, I came across her on a lot of threads and loved her username.

dementedma · 22/08/2017 21:21

she had meningitis and died, i think last week. All very sudden and awful

MyGastIsFlabbered · 22/08/2017 21:47

How awful. Just goes to show you never know what's around the corner doesn't it?

QuimReaper · 22/08/2017 21:54

Oh my God!

I had no idea

I'm really floored by that. What a horrible shock for the Keith family. Flowers
