Is this strange?

After the Manchester attacks at the Ariana Grande gig, I've found myself thinking increasingly about my nieces, nephew and my partners childrens children. I accept that I'll never have kids of my own, and so my nieces, nephew, 'grand kids' and friends children I treat as my own.

Is this odd for a guy? To want to simply protect?

No that's very normal. The love you have for your nieces and nephews and all the children in your life is brought forward at a time like this.

It's very distressing for everyone...of course those who were there will feel it most but those of us who weren't will also feel a lot of pain.

I've been very upset. Focus on all the good...the people who are arranging fundraisers and things to help the victims. That will help.
