pg test after m/c

I had a d&C last week and have decided (whether good or bad decision is a grey area I know) that I'd just prefer to move on and keep trying straight away. Although I know we're unlikely to get lucky straight away but just in case...when does one do a pg test (given that I have no idea when to expect next AF or ovln)?

when this happened to me last year we were advised to wait until after next period before trying again - presumably to avoid the uncertainty over dating any pregancy that could occur in the interim. i'm sorry, i know that's not what you were hoping to hear

The only reason they gave me not to try again straight away was because of the dating - no reason physically.

Have you ever read 'Taking Charge of your Fertility' by Toni Weschler? Amazingly helpful for taking the guess work out of the ovulating question at least...
