I am pregnant with my 3rd and had no problem with the other 2 pregnancies. I started bledding yesterday but have no pain - not masses but it is trickling. i have a scan tomorrow but can't wait

it doesn't neccessarily spell doom and gloom. I bled with my 3, from about 7 to 13 weeks on and off. Doctor said my hormone levels were low, hence the bleeding. Good luck for tomorrow - its so horrible waiting for the scan x

I also bled at 7wks, I went on to have a healthy baby - sometimes it might just be a case of implantation bleeding? Someone will come on and explain that better for you I'm sure.

Bucketsofdynomite · 27/02/2007 08:50

Try and keep your feet elevated as much as possible just in case though. Fingers crossed.

haxel · 27/02/2007 17:24

Good luck for your scan tomorrow. I bled regularly for the first two months of my first pregnancy. It was extremely worrying but my son was fine.

Chloe55 · 28/02/2007 15:54

How did the scan go Julsie?

sleepysooz · 28/02/2007 15:56

try and stay calm, put your feet up and relax for a couple of days, I bled at 10 weeks, but luckily everything was ok, good luck!

Any news yet Julsie? Hope it went well for you

i had my scan yesterday which said the sac was the size of a 5 week old and not a 7 week old as it should be. It was too small for them to make any decisions and i now have to wait until friday next week for another scan. in the meantime i did a hormone blood test yesterday and have to do one tomorrow as my urine test still shows i am pregnant. The hormone blood test should double by tomorrow if i am pregnant. Does not sound very good as i am accurate on my dates but i have a small element of hope. However i am still bleeding bright red Thanks for all your positive messages

I did reply earlier but my message has never appeared. Anyway had my scan which does not sound good as foetal sac was 5 week and not 7 weeks and i am definate on my dates. It was so small they could not tell me for certain if my baby was alive. Had the HCG blood test which was 1342 and have to have another tomorrow and it should have doubled if i am still pregnant. urine test still positive. Apart from that sit and wait until another scan next Friday so a long week. Ahead. Thanks for all ur positive messages

jules99, so sorry for you. xx

julsie, i went through the same thing with my 3rd. its awful, and i hope you get a positive result.

Cx

julsie · 03/03/2007 10:52

Really sorry Jules99 sounds awful.
However i wish mine would just come out now - all i have is fresh blood but as the HCG results are lowering i know it's all over and they are dragging it our by having another blood test tomorrow and possible D&C next week. Just wish it was all over.
Thinking of you and hope you find strength from each other x.

so sorry to hear this, no words can make it better. Thinking of you and hopefully you will have positive news soon. XXX

StrangeTown · 03/03/2007 11:41

Julsie - so sorry for you too at this point, I wasn't sure what was happening with you, I'm sorry it has turned out this way. I've got a lump in my throat thinking about both of you.

Jules, I'm honestly asking myself the exact same questions at this point, how many more times can this happen? I felt such a failure for my DH too, like he managed to do his bit, but me and my body couldn't do ours.

Thinking of you both
STx
