I'm sorry. I know how u feel. I'm coming up 2 my dad's 2 year anniversary in a couple of weeks. He was only 65 too. Way, way too young. I miss him too.
Hope u got through the day ok, somehow. 💐

Aw thank you. Yes the day came and went and wasn't so bad, but the following day I felt it more and I dreamt of my mum last night which made me sad when I woke up Sadin the dream we knew she didn't have long and I was crying, she was crying and hugging me.

I hope the day goes ok for you too. It's just a horrible feeling isn't it and feels so unfair. X

I'm glad it went ok. It's nice that u dreamt of your mum on the day (although it made you sad). I woke in the night the other day and started to think of my dad. I then dreamt of him and he said "I'm still here, I haven't gone' and whilst I was sad, at the same time it made me feel good (I'm sure they get messages to us). So whilst u and your mum were sad in the dream, emotions were shared and stuff wad exchanged iuswim (if that makes sense?)
Thank u. Yes, it is unfair (my dad was like a father to my kids) and it is very unfair.
I hope you manage to have a good Xmas. Do it for your mum. X

It is hard I know - it is a part of life and we all have to wade our way through it somehow. Flowers

Exactly, we just need to pick ourselves up again and get on with it (and I do, just sometimes it becomes overwhelming).

My mum loved Xmas so will have a good one for the kids but also in the hope she's there with us somehow. Need to be strong for my dad too.

I hope you both have a lovely Xmas Flowers
