so upset for my cousin

Just come off the phone to my mom, and she told me that my cousin, that I am relatively close too,has had another mc, but this time she was already 18 weeks pg (last one was an early m/c). She has 1 lil 4 year old boy and I know they were yearning to have another child, but took their time after the last m/c.
To make matters "worse" her brothers wife is pg, and they were due at around the same time....it will be so much more difficult for her
I am not gonna call her just yet, but will give her a week or 2 to settle down a bit...but am very aware that there is nothing I could say that will take the pain away for her.
I have had 2 early m/c's and they can be difficult enough to overcome, but well, at 18 weeks it's a completely different Ball game.
Sorry, just had to write this down, really.

Hi 3andnomore, so sorry to hear about your cousin's baby. It will be very hard for her. I had a little boy at 24 week in Nov, but he also passed away, so I can sympathise with your cousin very much so. In respect to other members of your family being pregnant, this has also happened to me, SIL had her baby a week a ago. It has been extremely hard, to the point where we don't really recognise that their baby exists, its very painful. Like you said just be their for her, I had lots of cards and gifts that helped (people brought me stars, rose trees etc..that were all named after him)... There are lots of us on the SANDS website, it is comforting to talk to people that can relate to how you are feeling. It might not be your cousins thing, but you could mention it to her.

I wish your cousin much love and will light a candle for her little angel next time I'm at the church...

Hi rahrah, yeah, oddly enough I was actually thinking of you when I heard about my cousin, because I remember your post at the time and well, I can only try to imagine what you or anyone in that situation will go through and just how difficult, devestating a thing it is to come to terms with!
I am not sure if my cousin is into talking on forums, but will see if I find a german supportboard, that I could give her the details, too.

I called her yesterday, and she seems to be holding up o.k. considering.
It really upset her though, when her lil 4 year old boy got so upset that they won't have that little Baby now afterall He loves Babys so much.
