Ring NHS direct. Vaguely remember something somewhere about pain in the left arm with bleeding.

itsmeNDP · 25/01/2007 12:35

arm pain is linked to ectopic, please see someone asap

Budababe · 25/01/2007 12:36

Have just looked it up on NHS but no info.

Flower3554 · 25/01/2007 12:39

My daughter had exactly this last September and hers was an ectopic pregnancy. Please seek help.

lissielou · 25/01/2007 12:39

its not in my shoulder, its from my shoulder right down to my wrist

Mercy · 25/01/2007 12:40

Shoulder tip is a symptom of ectopic pregnancy.

Please phone a Dr or NHS Direct NOW.

lissielou · 25/01/2007 12:40

and its more of an ache than a sharp pain. feel faint as well.

Is anyone with you?

If not call an ambulance.

Get to A&E asap

itsmeNDP · 25/01/2007 12:42

Please get it seen to. If it isn;t an ectopic repution or a symptom of something else sinister then you will be able to put your mind at rest. If it IS something serious then you NEED to get it seen to NOW and not leave it until you are in serious trouble

littlemissbossy · 25/01/2007 12:42

Ring NHS Direct immediately 0845 4647

itsmeNDP · 25/01/2007 12:42

ruption, not repution

WigWamBam · 25/01/2007 12:43

A&E now - best to be safe than sorry. Please - this kind of pain needs to be checked out as soon as possible.

Mercy · 25/01/2007 12:43

Sorry, shoulder tip pain.

Lissie, I really think you should phone asap, especially if you are feeling faint.

Have you got a friend or family nearby who can come to you in the next few mins?

Katymac · 25/01/2007 12:44

Lissielou - see someone straight away - I speak from experience

Surfermum · 25/01/2007 12:45

I agree. I was told this was a sign of a possible ectopic too.

itsmeNDP · 25/01/2007 12:45

A&E staff will not think you are 'wasting' their time or that you are some hysterical hypochondriac, please don't let those thoughts stop you from getting looked at.

lissielou · 25/01/2007 12:46

i keep going hot and cold too

Right - am hoping Lissie is in hosp being treated. But my overactive imagation is working overtime as I remembered WHERE i heard about the arm/shoulder pain. It was on Corrie - and the girl concerned was in the house alone and collapsed having just managed to call an ambulance.

Her DH was around wasn't he?

lissielou · 25/01/2007 15:33

sorry to panic you all, spoke to nhs direct and they think its a blood infection due to mc, so not to worry (huh) but if it gets any worse to go straight to a&e. thank you all so much, going to have a lie down now

Budababe · 25/01/2007 15:35

Ok Lissie - was driving back from school and the Corrie thing just popped into my head!
Look after yourself.
