Finding Christmas so hard

My DH died nearly 4 years ago and I managed to keep on being Christmassy but this year my DM and DB died and my DF will be in hospital. I just cannot do anything, I have not decorated the house and my three DC will all be home tomorrow but I still cannot do it. It is so difficult this year and I cannot face going to the attic to get the decorations down. I don't know why I am writing this but I feel so sad.

So very sorry to hear this, what a truly awful time you've had this year. Just do what you feel up to doing - if the DC want to decorate then let them do it, you just look after yourself.

I am so sorry for you. That is so incredibly harsh to have so many of your family gone, it's no wonder you feel like you can't do anything.

This is my first Christmas without my DH and that's bad enough.

I agree with getting your dc to decorate. My heart goes out to you.
