Today is MILs funeral...

And I should be there except I can't because I'm 38 weeks pregnant and can't travel abroad where the funeral is taking place.

So instead of being with my amazing DP to hold his hand I'm sat at home crying about how shit it all is especially that it happened so close to her first grandchild being born. It's so wrong.

Almost nobody will notice you are not there and those that do notice are exactly the people who will know why you could not travel.

But of course it is sad that she will miss the birth.
