My aunt has hours left

My aunt was involved in a car accident this morning and has been in intensive care. My mum called just now and she is unlikely to make it until tomorrow morning. I am a 3 hour flight away so there isn't anything I can do - just feel so sad and helpless.

Nothing useful to say but I hope she is pain free and that your Mum is not alone. It's awful being so far away and unable to do anything practical. Look after yourself.

I am so sorry, I lost my beloved Auntie three years ago. ...she was in her early 70s and had cancer so older than I am guessing that your auntie is.

I am hope that she is pain free. Do you have people around you who can support you?

62 which is no age at all. My uncle and cousins are with her and she is getting good care. DH is here - though bless him not good with emotion.
