Having a child after bereavement

My dad died 7 months ago. He was my two daughters' only Grandad. And a lovely one at that. I want to have another baby but it scares me to think they wouldn't have him in their lives at all ever. Anyone felt the same?

My dad died when dd2 was 8weeks. He didn't meet her as he had advanced dementia. I see him in her every day. I know he is watching over her.

My dd died 7 years ago and my dm died on his anniversary this month.

She loved my dd (8 months old) and even when totally confused knew her name etc.

My Ddad is looking out of dd they are so alike. I found a picture of him at 9 mo and they are the double of each other.

Go for it. I 'talk' to Daddy every day in my head. I haven't been able to yet with DM but it will come.
