Im not really expecting a response.

Mum a year ago tomorrow (16th April) you were diagnosed. 29 days you suffered and fought but lost your battle. A year on memories of you are as vivid as they ever were. I miss you. You are still the sunshine on a dull day. You were right. Life is short. You were taken far too soon.

It was an honour to have known you and to be able to call you my mum.

Your light will shine on.

It's still early days, of course you miss her, it's crap.

If it would help tell us about her, and any family, o you have siblings? how are you going to spend the day?

Not sure if you're a huggy person but gentle squeeze of the hand, do what you need to get through the
day .

I don't speak to my older sister. My dad passed many years ago. I was going to place some flowers at the crematorium tomorrow and just a gentle thought of her.
A catholic friend spoke at her funeral and described her as "although she rarely attended church after her baptism as a baby. She was the best Christian I have ever met. She was kind to both animals and people. Herreligion was her every day life"

So true.

That sounds a nice way to remember her. She sounds like a lovely lady, what kind words from your friend, could you speak to her today?

Be kind to yourself today, remember to eat & drink & remember your mum & cry if you need to.

I also lost my mum 3 yrs ago and still miss her everyday. Its hard
