My friend is gone.

I'm not sure what happened, but I believe she took her own life.
I found out on Tuesday.

We used to work together, then stayed in touch after I left.
She really was the most beautiful, funny, quirky kindhearted person I've ever known.
Her funeral is next week and I don't know what to do. I've never been to a non family funeral. I'll have to get there and go in. We have to wear fabulous shoes.
I miss her.

How terrible mimmee, it must be an awful shock.

Next week will give you a little time to get ready and prepared. Can you arrange to go along with someone else who knew her? When dp's friend died, we arrived early and met up with people outside and went in in a group, it helped.

I will try and get there in time to meer people from work. And I will be wearing fabulous shoes.
its just hit me really hard. she was only 21. I can't stop thinking about it.
