Waiting for dd's to get up to tell them their grandad died in the night

Happened a couple of hours ago at a local hotel oh half and bil gone there earlier

I remember that happening to me 20 years ago,l when my DM died - had to wait for DS to wake up to tell him.

I so wanted him to sleep & not know.

The practical things will work out for you over the next few days - they just come at you & you sort them.

Make sure you eat & keep hydrated - it's too easy to skip all of that.

There's a very simple guide to what needs to be done here

For the moment though just have a cuppa and if poss something small to eat as you will be in shock.
