I've not been on this part of Mumsnet for a long time - I wonder if any of you who gave me support are still here. But this is a beautiful open comment thread, about talking to someone you've loved and lost. I wanted to share it with everyone here who is on a similar journey.

i speak to my mum often and also get strong feelings/guidance of what she would like. we do things that she loved and i also treat her from time to time and if my children are acting up i will have a right ol chat with her and ask her what i should do. I cant handle thinking she is just completely gone, we are all different though xx

Did you read the comments on the linked thread? Some lovely ones about people talking to those they've lost. Thanks for sharing about your mum.
