how do you celebrate them or acknowledge that they are missing a special day. there is a family birthday coming up and the child is sad because his family member won't see him or be there. my nan puts up cards from this relative as she likes to include them and see a card from them but I'm not sure if that would be a bit much for child and confuse him he is only young
