my friends dead

she died from an unknown heart condition. She was amazing. I have no dh, and neither did she but we both have children. Hers are only 10 and 7.
I really have no idea why I am posting except I feel like there is no way out now. I am missing her so much.
At her funeral I said that there was noone like her. Kind, funny and loved every one.
I miss her so much and want her back.

Sorry about the loss of your friend, it must be hard for you especially at this time of year. Do you want to talk about her? How are her children getting on?

I just need to get it all out. People say the pain goes but every day for the past 10 weeks it has got much worse.

Her kids don't really understand. They miss her but her youngest thinks she is on holiday and will be back.

Her parents try to tell him thats wrong but if he thinks that I want to let him. They went to her funeral yet saw.it as a party I think.

Was she your partner?

Pain does ease - but it takes a lot longest than 10 weeks. I have a friend who has been widowed twice she deals with it bytthrowing herself at life - she is my hero.

Oh her poor children - will you still be able to be involved in her childrens life?

I lost one of my best friends 5 years ago, and I still miss her....she was a great mate, funny, irreverent and so so wise - I so miss being able to phone her for advice.

I do as much as I can for her kids - thats what I do for her.

I am so sorry for your and their loss.

Winstons wish is an amazing charity for bereaved children.

My dad died when I was 14 - it took months to sink in.

I lost a good friend 5 years ago when she was only 39 and still miss her chats, laughs and words of wisdom.
Her youngest was 10 at the time and it has been a joy to see her turn into a lovely young lady, her mother would have been so proud. We keep her memory alive by remembering her and never being afraid to talk about her, I'm sure like my friend she wouldn't have wanted you to be sad, things do get easier, be kind to yourself it's early days yet, so sorry for your loss :(

Not my partner. My best friend. We both had abusive exhs and met in a women's hostel.
I can still be in there lives. There grandparents say I am helping them through this.
I will mention Winston wish.

I am depressed, and this has made it worse in a way.
I have to go to bed now thank you all. I really have no idea why I started this thread - I think I need to get it out but not let my dd here as she misses her too.

I am so sorry for your loss.
i lost my friend 9 days ago and i miss her too, it's still very raw.
As feetlkeblocksofice said it is important to keep her memory alive and remember her how amazing she was.

I am so sorry for your loss. My best friend died in June, i want to tell you the pain subsides but it hasnt yet for me, i miss my friend more and more each day, i reach for the phone to text her something random then realise i cant reach her

Sorry for your loss- I can't imagine what you're going through. No words of wisdom from me I'm afraid. Except perhaps- this too shall pass. Sometimes that's all there is to say. So sorry.
