Poem for the loss of a little girl

I wrote this poem for our little girl Daisy who we lost because of my Balanced Translocation at 21weeks. I thought I'd share it for anyone who might need some inspiration xxx The poem is called "I'll Never"

For only a short time I got to hold you
It hurts so much i?ll never know you

You were a flutter in my tummy
I?ll never hear you call me Mummy

I?ll never know your favourite colour
Or teach you one foot from the other

I?ll never teach you right from wrong
or sing together our favourite song

Never hold your hand
Or build castles in the sand

Never plait your hair
I hope you know how much we care

You we?re wanted so much in our lives
But no sooner as we said hello
We had to say goodbye

Our special little girl
So briefly in our world
Love and cherish you forever
Forget you never.

That is really a very lovely poem on an impossible subject.

God bless you and her. x
